And the July MAC Tools Giveaway competition winner is…

July 2020 mac tools competition winner

…Oscar Perrin. Congratulations on winning your MAC TOOL 1/2″ Drive18V Cordless Brushless Impact Wrench Kit

Now that’s not a shabby prize, not a shabby prize at all.

Why is Tax Rebate Services running a MAC Tool giveaway competition?

Now you may just have seen our facebook competition post, given it some love and hashtags, and carried on with your day.

But, perhaps just as a fleeting thought, you may have wondered why tax rebate experts were giving away an expensive tool as a prize. And you wouldn’t be alone. It’s a fair question, which we have now been asked several times.

It’s not an immediately obvious connection.

The reason?

We love our car and construction industry clients.

And think it’s a good time to do something nice for them.

We have specialist knowledge and experience in CIS tax returns, self assessment tax returns submitting tool tax rebate claims for people in both the construction and motor industries.

We’ve even got a referral reward system for tool providers, so they help us spread the word. Attending the MAC Tool trade fair to promote our Tool Provider Partner Programme is a much enjoyed, out of the office, annual trip for us.

If you’re on the tools, we make sure you get all the work expenses and allowances tax reliefs you are entitled to. And you might not know everything you’re entitled to, for example, we include:

And it is a bit of a paperwork faff with the process for claiming capital allowances time consuming, which is why people get us to do it.

Even then, is it really worth the time to make a tool tax rebate claim?

Well, the average rebate we get for our mechanics and construction workers is over £900. You will have to put together some information for us. But even if that takes half an hour, that’s not a bad hourly rate.

You can put your numbers into our free Tool Tax Back Calculator and get a more personalised estimate.

Tax Rebate Services and tool provider partnerships

We believe the tax system should be fair and everyone should be as tax efficient as possible. Part of that involves having the knowledge to make tax rebate claims for things you are entitled to. It’s only fair.

Tool companies recognise the excellence of our service, by referring their customers. They don’t think HMRC should keep your overpaid tax either.

Also, you can use the tax rebate you get to buy another shiny new tool – and I think that’s something we all want!

Everyone’s a winner:

  • You get a tax rebate (and maybe buy new tools with it).
  • Tool providers strengthen their relationship with you by passing on useful information (and maybe you buy your new tools from them) Oh, and a referral bonus from us to say thank you.
  • We get your business.

If you think we can give you a hand to be tax efficient, give us a call on 01228 520477. Or fill in the contact form online below and we’ll get back to you.
