I’v submitted my tax return but didn’t include my expenses. Can I still claim?
Yes, if the tax return relates to one of the last four tax years, an amendment can be made to include the missing expenses. How the amendment is made depends on which tax year the tax return is for. It can either be done online or in writing.
Making a mistake, or not including something you should on a tax return is not uncommon. If you think you’ve missed out on claiming some or all of your expenses, dealing with it sooner rather than later is recommended, because of the time limits.
